Youth Treatment Specialist

Youth Treatment Specialist - Overnight/Graveyard Shift

Chehalem Youth & Family Services is accepting applications/resumes from highly responsible individuals for a full-time position providing on-going, awake supervision and support to at-risk youth residing in our treatment homes.  As the children sleep, the individual chosen for the position performs regular visual checks of the children to ensure health and safety.  Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, housekeeping, documentation, and a variety of other tasks designed to enhance the living environment.  This position involves working a minimum of 35 hours per week to qualify for benefits.  Days of the week and hours will be discussed during interviews.  Hours worked typically include a minimum of 1 weekend shift and shift duration vary based upon the needs of the children.  This is a full-time position w/medical, dental and vision benefits, flexible spending account, sick and vacation leave accrual, and paid holidays. Wage range is $8.95 to $10.50 DOE.  Great for students, night owls or for a second income. Food Coordinator for a Residential Treatment Program (Newberg, Or.)

Chehalem Youth & Family services is seeking a qualified Nutritionist or individual with background and experience planning, coordinating, and implementing menus designed to serve the needs of 25-27 adolescent youth.  This is a regular, part-time position (25 hrs. wk.) that requires flexibility and a high level of organization.  The individual chosen for the position will  be energetic, experienced in menu planning according to Oregon Department of Education guidelines, able to procure and distribute food, provide support shopping, provide culinary support to CYFS Board meetings, and maintain a stock supply of staple foods necessary to the good health of the children served.  Monthly staff meeting attendance is required to assess staff concerns, address food supply challenges and elicit feedback from staff responsible for meal preparation.  Wage DOE.  Contact hr@cyfs.net Attn: Kera  or Stephen,  mail your information to Chehalem Youth & Family Services, PO Box 636, 501 E.
