Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist

 Residential Program  The Human Resources Dept. is currently accepting letters of interest from current employees for full-time Overnight Youth Treatment Specialist working in the CYFS residential program.
 
BA or BS in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or human service related field is preferred but not required.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to child supervision and support between the hours of 11PM and 7AM with occasional adjustments to hours based on children’s needs.  Other duties include meal preparation, various cleaning tasks, assigned paperwork and/or data compilation, and additional duties as assigned or designated by the job description.   Wage range is $8.80-10.50 DOE. Benefits package includes sick and vacation leave accrual, medical, dental and vision plans and paid holidays.

Social Work/Supervised Visit/ Visitation Exchange position

Chehalem Youth & Family Services (CYFS) is accepting applications from individuals interested in providing supervision on a part-time basis to our supervised visit/visitation exchange program.  The individual chosen will be present for the duration of scheduled supervised visits (1-1.5 hours) or the exchange of a child or children (usually 30minutes) as they transition from the custodial parent to the non-custodial parent for scheduled visits.  Your responsibility in the position would be to ensure that involved parties have no direct contact during the transfer of the child(ren), that the conduct of the involved parties is conducive to child safety, and to note other important information in the file notes as appropriate.  The safety of the child(ren) is the primary concern in these cases.  Visits are ordered by the Yamhill County Court.  Visitations and/or exchanges may take place during the week or on the weekends depending on meeting space availability and the schedules of the involved parties and the supervisor.  Exchange duration involves brief windows of time that range from 30 minutes to an hour dependent on arrival times of the involved families.  Wage is $9.00-$10.00 hr DOE.  Benefits are not offered for this position.
