During the year, Chehalem Youth & Family Services will typically serve over 20 children in our Newberg-area residence homes. For many of these kids, it's the only place they've known that has offered them love, encouragement and healthy boundaries for living with others. They rarely have the types of comforts you may have at home but are grateful for a place to live that is free from violence, anger and abuse. Everyone deserves a chance.  That's why we need your help.

Sponsor-a-Child Program
Your monthly donation to the Sponsor-a-Child program will help supplement the basic state funding that is provided for simple care.  Your donation is an opportunity for our kids to feel just a bit more part of this community.  For just $25/ month your gift will help provide for the needs of one of the children in our program.

Monthly Donation:  $25/month  (You will receive a monthly email reminder)
Annual Donation:  $300/month

Northwest Passages
Every year many of our kids get an opportunity to experience the great outdoors through this amazing outdoor camping experience.  This very structured program teaches the kids important issues related to planning, teamwork, group problem solving and taking personal responsibility for decisions.  As funding cutbacks become more of an everyday reality, this program is at risk and needs your help to survive. Please help us send our kids on this great program. 

General Giving Opportunity
There are many ongoing needs in our education and group home programs.  Traditional funding sources can help some but more and more the small things that allow our kid's lives to feel more normal are often lacking.  Please consider a contribution that will help fill the financial gaps and be a partner with Chehalem Youth & Family Services.
