There are so many ways to get involved in fulfilling the mission of CYFS, from becoming a volunteer to donating to becoming a staff member. To provide the best possible service to our clients, CYFS needs community support on all different levels - and this is where you come in!
Whether you are considering a monetary donation or donating goods/service, both are highly needed and appreciated.
Monetary donations are essential to continuing the many services we provide both locally and statewide. Although CYFS receives funding for some of our services, there is a widening gap that is filled by donations from generous supporters from our community. These donations allow CYFS to continue our excellent services for our community members in need.
Because CYFS runs four residential homes there is always a need for donated household items. We also distribute donated items to youth in need in our YOOP! Program (Youth Outreach Opportunity Program). If we are unable to use donated items, then they can be sold at the Lucky Finds Thrift Shop, which provides monetary support to CYFS and is an opportunity for youth to learn job skills.

The strength of CYFS' ability to serve is within our staff. Our job opportunities are as diverse as the services we provide, from working directly with at-risk youth in residential care to providing therapy to families to working in an office setting. No matter what the job title, every employee at CYFS contributes to fulfilling our mission to help youth and families - and every employee's heart is geared to do so. What does CYFS look for in staff? Besides the belief that all people can grow and change, a will to stay positive and make a difference. Changing lives is hard work, but with the right team it is more than possible.
